Newspaper Tycoon — Terms of Service Last updated: 26 September 2026 These terms are the agreement between you and PixLabs (run by rhodzy, based in England) for playing Newspaper Tycoon, a game played through Discord. By using the game you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Contact: rhodzy@rhodzy.com, or our Discord server: https://discord.gg/CwX7B9RxXZ 1. WHO CAN PLAY You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and be old enough to use Discord in your country (at least 13). If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to make purchases. 2. THE GAME Newspaper Tycoon is free to play. Your cash, perks, outlets, achievements and other in-game items exist only in the game. They have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be sold or transferred to anyone else. We're always improving the game, so we may change how it works: balance, prices in game cash, rewards and features. If a bug or an exploit gives out things it shouldn't, we may correct affected saves. 3. PLAY FAIR Please don't: • use scripts, macros, self-bots or any automation to play; • exploit bugs. If you find one, tell us, don't use it; • use more than one Discord account to farm rewards, the weekly competition or team prizes; • harass other players, or abuse invites, teams or recruitment posts; • get around the name filter. Newspaper names, taglines and team names must be friendly, and must not use the names of PixLabs games or pretend to be official. If you break these rules, we may remove names, rewards or progress gained unfairly, reset your save, or stop you playing. We'll usually warn you first unless the problem is serious. 4. NAMES YOU CREATE You're responsible for the newspaper names, taglines and team names you create. We may change or remove any of them, at any time, if we think they're inappropriate. 5. PURCHASES You can buy optional extras with real money: • Supporter: a one-off purchase that unlocks reminders, the Archive, a badge and extra customisation for as long as Newspaper Tycoon runs. • Perk Respec: refunds the shares you've spent on prestige perks so you can choose again. Nothing for sale makes you richer or faster in the game. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. For purchases, Stripe may act as the seller of record and handle tax, and Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself. Purchases are applied to your account as soon as payment completes. Because purchases are digital and delivered immediately, you agree that delivery starts straight away. This means you can't cancel for a refund once it has been delivered. This doesn't affect your legal rights: if a purchase doesn't work as described, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you. We may also refund at our discretion. If a payment is refunded or charged back, we may remove what it paid for. 6. VOTING You can vote for the game on DiscordNest and DiscordForge to earn in-game rewards. Those sites' own terms apply to voting there. Vote rewards, streaks and cooldowns may change. 7. AVAILABILITY We work hard to keep the game running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We may pause it for maintenance. If we ever decide to close Newspaper Tycoon for good, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the PixLabs Discord server. 8. RESPONSIBILITY The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for lost in-game progress or items (though we'll always try to put things right). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. 9. ENDING You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. 10. CHANGES We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let players know in the PixLabs Discord server. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms. 11. LAW These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer laws.
